Wanderers Social GC is a registered Social Golf Club with Golf Australia, and once you join, you will be set up with an official GA Handicap. We arrange competitive, but still very social, rounds of Golf at least once a month in Melbourne and Perth, and twice a month in Sydney.
We play at a variety of the top public access courses around Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. Once a year we head off for a tour, our next tour will be in January 2025, when 28 of us will be heading down to Barnbougle for an epic 4 day trip.Our members range in age for mid 20’s to mid 40’s.
We play mostly better ball, LIV team format and 2-man scramble rounds. We have a year long team competition and well as an individual FedEx cup, and a Matchplay Knockout Competition.
Prize money is awarded to the top 3 finishers at each round, and the top 10 finishes at the end of year on the FedEx Cup standings.
Our club is built around networking and meeting like minded individuals. We don’t advertise for new members. All new members are brought into the club by a current member.
We take the golf competition seriously, but we also have fun along the way and are not too particular around the 100’s of quirky rules that golf has in the rule book.
